TQUK Level 4 Award in Observation of Teaching, Training and Learning (RQF)


 
This qualification is intended for qualified and experienced teachers who undertake, or plan to undertake, formal or informal observations of teaching and learning. You must be a qualified teacher to be able to undertake the qualification. The qualification will develop skills in observation, recording observations and giving constructive and developmental feedback.

The qualification is 5 credits with 30 Guided Learning Hours and a Total Qualification Time of 50 hours.

Learners will complete two units:

  • Observation of teaching, training or learning
  • Feedback after an observation of teaching, training or learning

    This qualification is intended for qualified and experienced teachers who undertake, or plan to undertake, formal or informal observations of teaching and learning. The qualification is particularly useful if you manage a team of observers. You must be a qualified teacher to be able to undertake the qualification. The qualification will develop skills in observation,recording observations and giving constructive and developmental feedback.

    The qualification is 20 credits with 60 Guided Learning Hours and a Total Qualification Time of around 140 hours.

    Learners will complete a single unit:

  • Observations of teaching and learning
